In India, sankirtan is considered singing Holly Names of the Lord. In the west, this is a term for transcendental books distribution. This is daily service where temple devotees, often on charming or funny way, try to present spiritual Vedic literature to the people on the street, offices or at home. Srila Prabhupada is most pleased with this service. It brings some special charm within, some special energy which is hardly expressive by words, but those who tried to distribute the book, they know it well… Through these books, in some way, we give them guidelines how to finely be happy, so in that way we exceedingly help them in their research.
