Lord is very merciful, and he takes the form of Deities so we can serve Him. According to Vedas, goal of life is to return back to God, back to His home which is spiritual world, and serve Him there in eternal relationship full of knowledge, bliss and eternity of course. But to become worthy entering this spiritual antimaterial world first we must become equally qualified as residents of spiritual world. In other words, we must become simple, humble and pure servants of the Lord. To teach us how to serve properly Lord Krishna Himself takes the form of Deities and allows us to serve Him. Some people may find this idolatry so I would like to say something in that concern.
Idolatry means to worship somebody or something else than the Lord, for example gold calf or some other object. Vedas strictly deprecate worshiping anybody or anything except the Lord Himself. In our temple and in every other vaisnava temples the Lord is worshiped directly in the form of Deities.
Lord Krishna has uncountable incarnations and forms, that is why there are such a different types of deities. The most merciful incarnation of all is considered to be Lord Caitanya, also called Gauracandra... His brother, who is even more merciful, is Nityananda, or shortly Nitay, and from that comes name Nitai Gauracandra. We are especially fond of Nityananda also called Avadhuta, according to who our association got the name. He is all the time dressed in blue color, and Lord Caitanya is dressed in orange color, so that is the reason why blue and orange color dominates our webpage. Our dear Deities, whom we got in the holiest place on earth Vrindavana-India, are also the reason of all good things that happens in our temple. They are with us for 4 years now and they are very merciful. Everybody who comes to the temple is impressed by their beauty. So, if you want, you can come and see them, pray to them, and you´ll see how merciful they are. For those who cannot come, we chose some photos, so you can pray to them in this way if you like.
