Bhakti Sanga program is designed for people who seriously decided to go on this path of bhakti. His preliminary founder is Bhaktivinoda Thakura, well-known government servant of 19th century, and also, above all, a great spiritual inspiration of our spiritual heritage. Later his idea was adopted for the needs of our modern society, maintaining its original goal.
And the goal is spiritual, social and emotional support for congregation members gathered around a particular temple. Therefore sanga serves as a sort of shelter where the congregation members can get to know each other well, assist one another and support temple activities and members of the temple.
The program takes place once a week and consists of a couple unpredictably interesting points: playing and singing spiritualne music, a common short meditation, dicussing one of the many spiritual themes (contained in the bhakti Sanga manual) and taking Prasada (holy vegetarian meal).
One of the most precious possibilities of this program is counseling, because this type of association is opening an excellent opportunity to provide and receive spiritual guidance, emotional support and resolve potential challenges of various types of personal nature.
