Five years celebration of opening the temple

In the last Sunday in the month of November we celebrated the anniversary of five years since the opening of temple in Karlovac. Mohan prabhu, a person who is most responsible for the whole initiative and leadership of this project, give a main lecture on this day.

An unbelievable event is occurring here in my town for a five years now, a group of young enthusiast are leading a project where people can actually see how a ceremony of temple worship is actually being performed, like it was performed during last 5000 years in ancient India, with big Deities of Lord being situated inside and people living with Them, who are worshipping Them on everyday basis. Mohan prabhu also stressed the fact that this kind of worshipping and leading a preaching centre at the same time is a very difficult thing to do. In whole area of ex-Yugoslavia there in no such a small city with so many preaching projects, so that we must be aware of this unique opportunity which is given to the people of this town.

Giving us an insight of importance and effect how this place is having a big impact on our own lives, Mohan prabhu continued his observations with thoughts of gratitude, which persons living in this area should feel towards this whole thing and Deitys in the centre of all this thing, and also feelings of appreciation should be involved towards devotees who are keeping together the whole idea. Today we can experience that the flow of time passing is very fast and this is certanly very present in moments where there is an lack of attention, of people living outside the temple, towards the temple itself and people living there, so he kindly asked that if we can somehow manage our lives so we can increase, step by step, our presence towards the Deitys and Their close devotees, and that in this way everyone can have even more pleasure cooperating in more organized manner with each others. Old common proverb says that people cant enough appreciate some thing until it is missing in their life. So all of us should ask ourselfes more often about our own intentions and feeling which we cultivate and how much we really appreciate the whole effort and opportunity which is given to us, how much we are really giving something to this community. Even a slight sign of love sometimes is a big thing to do, especially when many temple preaching projects are rapidly rising up and sometimes there is a lack of dedicated people who are carrying them out.

In meantime many branches of this project happened, and now besides the temple house there is also one pretty big restourant and also a big farm community project  is planned, and many many other things... also Mohan prabhu continued his speech in that direction with topics based on future projects. Many sannyasis and spiritual masters past through this temple , but apparently a biggest happening was that His Holiness Candramauli Swami came to live here in one of the farms near city. He accentuate one of the most important reasons why he came here in the first place, it was because he compares the enthusiasm and will of local devotees to the ones of New Vrindavan community, to the very same great motivation  for preaching like those days devotees had in early moments of movement in America. After Mohan prabhu gave a clear insight to unbelievable events which occured during this last few years and which form present situation, and to all those many preaching projects which are happening.

Final chapter of birthday was formed of Mohan prabhu giving thanks to all devotees who were included in service to Sri Sri Nitay Gauracandra during all those years and to all who were still included. Every devotee who was present on this gathering expressed his own thoughs and feelings which were present in their lives during this time. Displayings were emotionally very intense and that was a culmination of the program and whole five years.

At the end of the program there was an offering of a huge beautiful cake to Nitay Gauracandra and all of devotees drifted together in an ocean of emotions saying farewell to Them, before They went to divine sleep.


One of many providence which occured during this day was that all of the devotees gathered on this day on this place were actually only the devoteees who were living in this distric, so they were all familiar faces to Them, and in this way we saw that They take care for Themselves alone and invited only Their closest friends to a birthday party...

We wish that also Their next birthday will be so pleasant, and also that next few years also bring so much joy and emotions to our lives , and that even more familiar faces attend the next one...
